The Milo Minute
On Wednesday February 24, 2021, Covid Bros. were featured on the Milo Minute, a segment on WDET‘s (101.9 fm in Detroit) daily program Culture Shift where reporter Jeff Milo shares a new music discovery from the Detroit-area.
The song they played was Trapped Inside which features the lyrics and vocals of Tea Miller, Kurt’s 14 year old daughter.

Last night (Oct. 30th, 2020) our music passion project Covid Bros. / Essential Works won gold in the music category by The Side Show.
Chris and I are pretty stoked to receive this award. What an honor. Thanks a bunch. I think we get a BOGO coupon to the Waffle House. This doesn’t change that 2020 still sucks.

Hello Covid Brothers and Sisters. The Side Show is a competition that celebrates the side projects of people who work in the advertising industry. As you may or may not already know, both Chris and Kurt are freelance graphic designers as well as musicians. We entered three songs from Essential Works into this competition: Rabbits Run, My Covid Brothers, and West Wing Rage. We want to share this with you incase you have a side project you’re super proud of and want to share. The deadline is in a few days, so don’t delay.
